Back to school prep

Today is a BIG day for local children as they find out who their teacher is for the upcoming school year! In honor of this event, here are some first day of school essentials that you may be interested in.

A year ago, I bought this chalkboard and chalk marker as props for the first day of school photo…lets be serious, photo shoot! I did not have the heart to to wipe it clean and left the first day of school sign as it was until May. I was worried I would not be able to get the marker off easily after letting it sit for a whole school year. My plan was to just flip it over and use the backside if it didn’t come off. Luckily, the marker wiped right off as if it was still the first day I used it. I was able to just change the dates and a few other items.
