Plaid Sherpa

Good Morning! This plaid sherpa fleece became available as a lightening deal early this morning. This thing is so warm. I wore it two weeks ago when I took my daughter ice skating for the first time ever. This was my only coat that day on the ice and it did not disappoint! I am wearing the grey colored plaid, in my normal size, and I am happy with how loose and long it is. If you want a more fitted look then I suggest sizing down.

Back to Work Outfit

I am preparing to return to work tomorrow. Does this outfit say, “first day of second semester” to you? 🤣 I just haven’t decided which way to wear it or which wedge sneaker looks better. Anyone else put on two different shoes and do the flamingo pose to figure out which shoes to wear!? 🦩

Walmart Duster

This Time and Tru duster cardigan has dropped in price online (limited sizes) and it is on clearance in stores too. The sleeves are a bit wider so you can comfortably wear a long sleeve shirt under it. I like to wear mine with leopard wedge sneakers.

Khaki Upgrade

I finally retired my pre- babies, AE low-rise khaki pants. You know the ones that I have to pull up by the belt loops when I go from sitting to standing. The ones that hit right at that perfect spot on my hips to create the fluffy muffin top. The ones that accentuated my umbilical hernia (thank you children) and that “mom pouch” with loose skin that no amount of ab workouts has seemed to fix in two years. Yeah those pants. Bye. 👋 You’re welcome world.

These are now my khakis. They are Time and Tru high rise khakis and they cover my muffin top, loose skin/ pouch and most of my umbilical hernia. I did not have to pull on the belt loops all day. They are not on sale, but are half the price of AE replacements. You can get them at your local Walmart for $18.74. They have a beautiful plum purple color too. I will be watching for them on clearance.

Paper bag pants

Mostly my work attire consists of colored jeggings and dresses. I don’t really have dress pants since having my kids. When I saw these a few months back I wasn’t sure they would work with my short torso, but I had been admiring the paper bag pants look since spring time. I ordered them when they were a lightening deal and was pleasantly surprised. They are super comfortable and I feel like the material is a good quality. They even shipped the belt in the bag separately so it didn’t get messed up.
